![]() The one thing that I would change in my middle school is having more school spirit activities. The school offered extra curricular activities which is where I met most of my friends. Making new friends in middle was easy for me. Thankfully, all of my teachers made me feel very welcome and addressed every question I have had. In the beginning I struggled with the new environment. The staff of Millstone Township middle school always made me feel very comfortable and accepted. Fortunately, I had nothing to worry about. Before I began sixth grade, I was immensely nervous and afraid of the future work that I had to complete. However, in opinion, middle school was probably one of the best times for me to shape myself into an independent, hardworking person. ![]() Junior: Middle school is not always a pleasant time for many people. I know I could have learned more, and that FRHSD can actualize that. Once I received "guided" notes that were completed! I was disappointed when I wasted time in subjects I was interested in. The only thing that should change is the rigor of the classes. Knowing that the staff truly supports me and wants me to succeed in and outside the classroom made me feel valued. Besides help with schoolwork, many helped with personal issues by giving advice and simply checking in. None of it could have been possible without the friendly and helpful staff. I am thankful for all of the experiences I took part in, including the ones I did not enjoy or shine in. Not only did I learn many diverse skills, I learned about myself. ![]() I created preschool lesson plans, played piano, etched a scratchboard, and even wrote a novel. Experimenting with various electives enabled me to shape my identity and path for the future. Senior: FRHSD provides countless opportunities that had a lasting impact on me.
